Siddhivinayak Temple

History

Built in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil. The original small structure has been expanded into a grand marble temple complex managed by a trust.

Modern marble temple with a gold-plated dome. The original inner sanctum houses the 2.5-foot-wide Ganesha idol carved from a single black stone, with the trunk turned to the right (a rare and auspicious form).
